Teacher Volunteers are Needed


We are looking for teacher volunteers to help us in our newly built Maasai High School.

Would you like to meet and interact with high school students from Africa? Are you interested in sharing your English-language skills with speakers of other languages? Are you interested for a unique cultural experience? If you answered "Yes!" to these questions, please email us today. Volunteers are needed to teach various subjects such as biology, chemistry, math, and English at a newly built Maasai high school in Kenya. Volunteer teachers must be at least 21 years of age with excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

In addition to teaching volunteers will have an incredible opportunity to learn about East Africa, Maasai culture, local languages such as Kiswahili and Maa. This will be a unique experience that will last a volunteer for many years to come.

Requirements include:

• Some teaching experience
• Undergraduate or graduate students
• Good health
• At least 21 years
• A high level of enthusiasm
• Flexibility

Application process involves:

• Two Letters of Reference
• Physical Exam/Health Records
• Written Application

Durations of program: 6-12 months

We offer the following:

• Free housing
